The Paris leg of Billie Eilish's 'Hit Me Hard And Soft' tour got off to a good start with the singer performing one of Paramore's iconic songs.

She covered 'The Only Exception' at the Accor Arena on Tuesday, June 10.

The song was released as the third single from the American rock band's Grammy-nominated album, 'Brand New Eyes'.

"When I was younger, I saw my daddy cry/ And curse at the wind/ He broke his own heart and I watched/ As he tried to reassemble it/ And my momma swore/ That she would never let herself forget/ And that was the day that I promised/ I'd never sing of love if it does not exist," she sings.

Eilish has sung several covers during her tour. In May, she performed Radiohead's 1992 classic 'Creep' during her stop in Amsterdam.

Lola Young was the opening act for night one of Eilish's Paris stop.

Moments before her performance, Young admitted that she was feeling nervous but excited.

"I'm about to go on stage in Paris, supporting Billie Eilish, the absolute goddess herself. Thank you so much, Billie, for having me," she said.

The 24-year-old's set included her smash hit, 'Messy'. The track is currently at number 25 on the CTM Top 40 with Danny Painter.

Eilish's 'Birds of a Feather' is also on the Top 40. It is currently charting at #39, nearly one year after its release.

The singer will take her 'Hit Me Hard And Soft' tour to Barcelona, Glasgow, London, and Manchester. The European leg will wrap up in Dublin on July 29.

Tune in to the CTM Top 40 with Danny Painter Saturdays 10:00 to 14:00 to find out who's on top of the chart!
