BTS member J-hope has teamed up with American rapper GloRilla on a new track called 'Killin' It Girl'.

Cirkut produced the song, which was released on Friday, June 13. The Canadian producer has worked with music superstars such as Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Maroon 5, and Sam Smith.

A statement about the release said, "'Killin' It Girl' is a hip-hop track with an addictive hook that demands to be played on repeat. "

"J-Hope’s rhythmic finesse stands out against the track’s minimalist arrangement, exuding confident charisma with a sensual edge. The track conveys the sheer thrill of falling in love at first sight. With raw honesty, J-Hope articulates the emotional rush and magnetic pull toward someone who radiates perfection with her own unique brilliance."

The K-pop star also debuted the song's official music video on YouTube. It amassed over eight million views in a few hours.

GloRilla also features.

"In the video, J-Hope’s energy as he boldly races through the vast urban landscape feels incredibly visceral. Striking bursts of contrasting colours add visual flair, offering a highly stylish and visually captivating experience with grunge-inspired aesthetics. GloRilla also makes an appearance in the music video, making it a standout collaboration that grabs everyone’s attention."

'Killin' It Girl' follows his other 2025 single releases, including 'MONA LISA' and 'Sweet Dreams' featuring Miguel.

The song dropped just a few days after fellow BTS members Jimin, Jungkook, RM and V were discharged from military duty.

J-hope completed his stint in October 2024 while Jin, who was the first to enlist, was discharged in June last year.

Suga will return on June 21. All seven members of the group were required to complete mandatory military service.

BTS took a hiatus in 2022 to allow its members to start serving.

They all began serving at different times, allowing other members to pursue solo careers.

The group is expected to reunite this year, with fans expecting new music and an album to follow soon after.
