Concern for Justin Bieber grows: "I hope he's OK"

The singer's friends are reportedly worried about him following his recent online behaviour and shocking paparazzi pictures.

Justin Bieber is allegedly "facing a lot of different demons right now".

Sources and former friends are speaking out as concerns about the 'Baby' hitmaker's mental health and well-being continue to grow.

The singer made headlines in recent months after paparazzi shots showed him looking worse for wear. Some even accused the star of doing hard drugs

"A guy that is barely 30 years old but looking older because of drug abuse. Hard drugs don't just ruin careers; they take a visible toll on your body and mind. Stay away from them – or they ruin your future," one person wrote on X.

A rep for the singer denied the drug claims.

Bieber also confessed to feeling "unequipped and unqualified" in one of several eyebrow-raising social media posts.

"People told me my whole life, 'Wow, Justin, you deserve that.' And I personally have always felt unworthy. Like I was a fraud," he revealed in a post shared on Instagram Stories.

He wrote in another post: “I think I hate myself sometimes when I feel myself start to become inauthentic. Then I remember we’re all being made to think we’re not enough but I still hate when I change myself to please people."

The singer, who welcomed his first child, Jack Blues, in 2024, also sparked divorce rumours after following and unfollowing his wife, Hailey Bieber.

"Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife," he claimed.

Bieber also parted ways with his manager, Scott 'Scooter' Braun, and ditched his popular fashion brand Drew House.

"I, Justin Bieber, am no longer involved in this brand. Drew House doesn't represent me or my family or life," he wrote on Instagram.

The post has since been deleted.

Several former friends of the star spoke to The Hollywood Reporter (THR) for a piece titled, 'Justin Bieber’s Crisis of Faith?'

"Whatever he’s going through, I pray for him and hope he’s OK. Seeing him disintegrate like this … it’s watching the embodiment of someone not living their purpose," singer-songwriter Poo Bear told THR.

Poo Bear, whose real name is Jason Paul Douglas Boyd, wrote some of Beiber's biggest hits including 'What Do You Mean?'

“He’s lost. There’s no one protecting him because there’s no one there willing to say no to him. You say no, you get blown out.”

The report also claimed that Bieber, who reportedly has a net worth of $300 million, has a multi-million dollar debt after cancelling his 'Justice' tour a few years ago to focus on his health.

However, the singer's team has denied the claims.

"This is just clickbait stupidity based on unnamed – and clearly ill-informed – ‘sources,’ disappointed that they no longer work with Justin. As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But, they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path," a rep told People magazine.

However, a source told the publication that people are worried about Bieber.

"He is facing a lot of different demons right now. He is making some really poor decisions lately, further impacting friendships, money, and business."

Bieber is seemingly ignoring the negative press. He is reportedly working on a new album and just unveiled his new clothing brand, SKYLRK.

His wife, Hailey, has reportedly been helping him with his new project.

Some music industry experts believe Bieber is just going through a rough patch and will make a big comeback went the time is right.
