'I'm back' – Jessie J gears up for new music release

Jessie J teases new music project.

Jessie J hasn't released new music in a long time, but that's about to change.
The English singer has been teasing her next project on social media over the past several days.
It started in the last week of March when Jessie announced on TikTok that she's now under new management. She shared a funny video of herself approaching two men in a movie theatre.
However, Darcus Beese and Ted Cockle aren't strangers. They were both music executives when she first started with Island Records and Universal Republic.
They worked for the label when she released her debut album, 'Who You Are', in 2011. The album produced hits like 'Price Tag' and 'Do It Like a Dude.'
Jessie went on to collaborate with stars such as Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, and David Guetta, who co-produced her first album.
"D.A.P x Jessie J. The band is back together," the 'Nobody's Perfect' hitmaker captioned a throwback picture with Beese and Cockle.
The announcement sent her fans into a frenzy.
"Girl, pop needs you," one TikTok commentator said.
Another added: "New management? Big moves ahead! Excited to see what’s next!"

Jessie returned to social media one day later to celebrate her 37th birthday with a cryptic post.
"Chapter 37. I'm back," she captioned a video featuring the date XX/04/2025.
Her fans took it as a sign that Jessie plans to release a new song in April.
"Welcome back! Can't wait to see what's next!" one commented.
Another added, "Please let these songs show your range! Your voice is up there with Whitney [Houston] and Mariah [Carey]; the world just needs to know it."
Jessie is planning an intimate show in London on May 20. 'An Acoustic Evening with Jessie J Live' will take place at Union Chapel.
She started working on her sixth studio album a few years ago but never finished the project.
Her departure from Republic Records in 2023 seemingly caused more delays.
"After 17 years I have decided to leave Republic Records. I was about six months pregnant when I made this decision," she said at the time.
"I just feel so grateful that I’ve got to experience being signed to the best record label in the world... But I have to just be honest with who I am and what I want from my career now."
Her fans can't wait for her next chapter!
