‘At least you know I sing live’: Lady Gaga's mic glitch
Updated | By Music Reporter
Lady Gaga suffered a mic failure during one of her recent shows but she handled it like a pro.

There is nothing worse for a singer than their mic malfunctioning in the middle of a big performance.
However, if your name is Lady Gaga, you brush it off and carry on.
The 'Zombieboy' singer's audio glitched just two songs into her Coachella 2025 set.
The festival headliner was singing her latest hit, 'Abracadabra', when the hiccup happened. The crowd could see her lips moving, but there was no sound coming out of her mouth.
Thankfully, Gaga was able to replace the mic midway through the song, restoring order. She switched from a head mic to a handheld mic in a matter of seconds.
"The mic malfunction was an uncontrollable mishap, but at the very least, she proved to the world that she sings live — and only a global pop icon like her could handle it with such grace and power. @ladygaga," one person said on X.

Lady Gaga later apologised for the gaffe.
"I’m sorry my mic was broken for a second," the 39-year-old said. "At least you know I sing live,” she teased.
“I guess all we can do is our best, right? And I’m definitely giving you my best tonight.”
Gaga's fans were impressed by her professionalism, with many calling her an icon.
"Lady Gaga managed to switch from head mic to hand mic and back to head mic in literal MINUTES without interrupting her performance after some technical difficulties. WHAT A LEGEND. WHAT A PRO. #Gagachella," one X user wrote.
Another X user commented: "Lady Gaga is going to go viral because she handled those technical difficulties like a fucking PROFESSIONAL and her ability to adjust that choreo for a hand held mic was next level."
2025 is shaping up to be a good year for Gaga.
She released her new album, 'Mayhem', in March. So far, she has released three songs from the project, including 'Disease' and 'How Bad Do U Want Me'.
The album peaked at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Gaga has two songs on the CTM Top 40 with Danny Painter. 'Abracadabra' at #9 and 'Die with a Smile' featuring Bruno Mars at #18.
Tune in Saturdays from 10:00-14:00 to find out who's on top of the chart!
