'Sports Car' singer Tate McRae showed off her vocals while singing a Taylor Swift song during a soundcheck in Germany.

The 21-year-old was in the country for the Stuttgart leg of her 'Miss Possessive Tour'.

She is well known for singing some of her favourite songs during soundcheck, and this time she chose a deep cut from Swift's 2020 'Folklore' album.

McRae sat on a stool, wearing blue and white Adidas tracksuit pants and a grey top, singing 'The 1' from the lyrics on her phone.

"I have this dream you're doing cool s**t/ Having adventures on your own/ You meet some woman on the internet and take her home/ We never painted by the numbers, baby/ But we were making it count/ You know the greatest loves of all time are over now," she sings.

'The 1' is the opening song on Swift's 16-track eighth studio album. While the single is a fan favourite, it is one of Swift's lesser-known songs.

Other favourites on the album were 'Cardigan,' 'Exile,' 'Betty,' 'August,' and 'The Last Great American Dynasty.'

'My Tears Ricochet', which appeared on the soundtrack for 'It Ends With Us' - a film starring her best friend, Blake Lively, and Justin Baldoni, was also featured.

Swifties and Tater Tots, as the pair's fans are called, gave McRae's cover of 'The 1' their seal of approval.

"My Swiftie Tater Tot heart is melting right now 😭," one X user remarked.

Another X user commented: "Tayate crumbs aaahhhh i love them so much 😭❤️❤️❤️."
