Gauteng ANC confident ahead elections

The ANC in Gauteng says life in the province will keep on improving, if the ANC is returned to power during next week's municipal elections.

The party's provincial leadership addressed media in Johannesburg Thursday afternoon.
ANC Gauteng Chairperson Paul Mashatile said the ANC is the only party with concrete and implementable plans to improve service delivery and living conditions in all communities.
He said global economic ratings of municipalities attest to effective and good governance, and they will continue to improve if the ANC is returned to power.
"Given the extensive work that we have done we are confident that we will retain all 10 municipalities currently under control of the ANC and are working hard to also win Midvaal," Mashatile said.
