Eskom studying court ruling
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
The power giant, Eskom is studying yesterday's landmark court ruling that set aside a portion of the electricity tariff increase already implemented.

The North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria, found that the process did not comply with the necessary methodology needed for interim tariff increases.
South Africans have been paying 9.4 % more since the first of April but the ruling implies that this is too much.
Eskom's Khulu Phasiwa says the impact of this, has not yet been determined.
"This ruling was actually a case against the processes that were undertaken by the national energy regulator and thus we were mentioned by default," Phasiwe told Jacaranda FM News.
