Around 35 000 people from across the province are expected to make their way to the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban today, where Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini is expected to appear for an event celebrating the life of King Shaka.

King Zwelithini is also celebrating 45 years since ascending to the throne.
The celebration will see people commemorating the life and reign of King Shaka.
It will also mark 200 years since the formation of the Zulu nation.
The King's spokesperson Prince Thulani Zulu says King Shaka unified the Zulu nation.
"We are celebrating 200 years of the unification of the Zulu nation by that particular king. There will be a parade to the stadium beginning with the cultural group. We know KwaZulu-Natal is multi-cultural so all the race groups will be [represented] in the Moses Mabhida Stadium," he said.
