More chaos at UKZN's Westville campus
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Protests over free higher education have erupted at UKZN Westville campus once again.

Police have fired rubber bullets and teargas on campus, while students are throwing glass bottles and rocks over the fence at the university's Oval residence.
It was aimed at the Police Nyala stationed outside.
Some of the students, who have covered their faces with masks and t-shirts, have barricaded themselves in the residences and continued to throw items off the balconies.
Together with UKZN's Howard College and Pietermaritzburg campus, the academic programme had been disrupted due to more than three weeks of unrest - with ongoing calls for free and quality education.
