A truck and bus collided on the R80 Mabopane freeway in Pretoria earlier on Tuesday causing a massive delay in traffic.

According to the Tshwane Emergency Services, more than 40 people were injured when the truck and bus collided, causing peak time traffic to come to a complete standstill.
"The road was completely closed off while paramedics attended to the injured," spokesman, Johan Pieterse told Jacaranda FM News.
The road is still closed while the wreckage is being removed.
"All patients have been transported to various hospitals in and around Pretoria, while tow trucks are busy clearing the scene," Pieterse added.
An investigation into the exact cause of the accident is under way but according to information the truck allegedly crashed into the bus.
