Updated | By AlgoaFM
Grahamstown police have arrested at least ten students following clashes in front of Rhodes University.

Police spokesperson, Captain Luvuyo Mjekula, says five of the students were arrested for violating an interdict obtained by the University. He says the others were arrested for malicious damage to property.
Mjekula says the five males and five females will likely appear in court on Thursday.
He says students gathered in Somerset Street where they barricaded the road and pelted police vehicles with stones.
One vehicle was damaged in the incident and police fired rubber bullets. Police are monitoring the situation.
