The South African Weather Service has issued a warning of extremely high fire danger conditions in places over the Central Karoo District of the Western Cape, the western and central interior of the Eastern Cape as well as over the southern interior of the Northern Cape.

Northern Cape: Morning fog patches along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but warm in places in the north becoming partly cloudy in the west and south from the afternoon where it will be windy.

Western Cape: Morning fog patches along the west and south-west coast, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but warm and windy over the interior with isolated late morning rain and showers along the south-west coast.
