ANC NEC to discuss Ekuhuleni Mayor Tweet
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
ANC Secretary General, Ace Magashule says the party's NEC will this weekend discuss Ekurhuleni Mayor, Mzwandile Masina's tweet.

Masina took to the social media platform on the day the cabinet was announced to express his dissatisfaction on the re-appointment of Pravin Gordhan as Minister of Public Enterprises.
The Ekurhuleni mayor expressed that President Ramaphosa was undermining the rule of law in reappointing Gordhan.
The appointment of Pravin undermines the rule of law and makes mockery of our democracy. This is really out of order! I hope the NEC looks into this matter with urgency

Masina's comments come a week after Public Protector, Busisiwe Mkhwebane found Gordhan guilty of improper conduct, after he approved an early retirement payout for former SARS deputy commissioner Ivan Pillay.
"Those are the things you discuss as an organisation, you discuss them internally.
"You don't invite the media into that space. Part of what we are doing as we analyse elections [is that] we actually talk openly freely and frankly about all those issues and the issues that you are actually raising.
"It will be a subject of the meeting. That is how the ANC works. We correct leaders and we remind leaders that you are not an individual but part of a collective because that us our culture that is our tradition," said Magashule.
