DA promises to sell Bryntirion Estate if comes into power

The Democratic Alliance (DA) has promised voters that should the party come into power, they will sell off Bryntirion Estate.

The estate is located in Pretoria and houses the President, Deputy President, and cabinet ministers.
DA leader, Mmusi Maimane led a protest outside the estate on Friday where he was joined by the party’s Gauteng Premier candidate, Solly Msimanga and a handful of supporters.
“It’s a South Africa where our poor people are living in poor conditions, yet our Ministers are living in the lap of luxury.
“We treat politicians as if they are gods, whereas our citizens live like paupers. I am here to announce strongly that if the DA was to come into government, we are going to sell this thing," said Maimane.
