Amber Heard's twin baby joy: 'I am eternally grateful'
The actress has welcomed twins, a boy and girl, via a surrogate mother.
Amber Heard celebrated Mother's Day as a mom of three.
The 'Aquaman' star took to Instagram on Sunday to announce the arrival of her twins. She used a surrogate mother to welcome the new additions to her family.
"Mother’s Day 2025 will be one I’ll never forget. This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years. Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang," she wrote.
The 39-year-old also shared their names.
"My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full."
Heard also has an older daughter named Oonagh Paige, who was born in April 2021. She reportedly also turned to surrogacy for her first pregnancy.
"When I had my first baby girl, Oonagh, four years ago, my world changed forever. I thought I couldn’t possibly burst with more joy. Well, now I am bursting times three!"
She also opened up about her fertility challenges in the post.
"Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms, despite my own fertility challenges, has been the most humbling experience of my life. I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully.
Heard has previously been linked to billionaire Elon Musk, filmmaker Bianci Butti, and actor Johnny Depp, with whom she was involved in a messy divorce and defamation lawsuit.
Other stars who have used surrogate mothers include Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen, Gabrielle Union and Priyanka Chopra.
"To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you," Heard conclude her post.
