Caspar Lee: Drinking tea with the Queen
South Afican You-tuber Caspar Lee has been invited to tea with the Queen - like literally!
He has achieved a great deal of milestones, including a book and movie deal, but his latest big achievement involves a visit to Buckingham Palace to receive an award from Queen Elizabeth.
Caspar confirmed that he will be receiving the Queen's Young Leaders Award during a ceremony on the 29th of June, posting the invite on social media.
The world famous You-tuber, with more than 7 million subscribers, had a jab at his former teacher with the caption: “Shoutout to the teacher who said I shouldn't waste my time making YouTube videos”.
He will attend a "Ceremony and Reception" for the recipients of the Queen’s Young Leaders Award. a programme launched by the Queen in 2014.
The award celebrates entrepreneurs, community leaders and “exceptional people, aged 18-29, across the Commonwealth.
