George Michael leaves £50million to his sisters

Singer, George Michael, who died of heart failure on Christmas day, has left his sister Melanie the lion's share of his huge fortune.

The 55-year-old make-up artist - who also used to cut her brother's hair as she traveled with him - is set to receive the lion's share of the icon's huge £105 million fortune.
According to reports George was very close to his sisters, and the understanding is that they're going to inherit most of his estate.
His eldest sister, Yioda Panayiotou, is also expected to inherit a chunk of his estate.

Meanwhile, George's publicist has issued a statement from the family and friends of the late musician to thank his fans for their love and support.
"The family and close friends of George have been touched beyond words by the incredible outpouring of love for him in the hours and days since his death," the statement read.
