Did Justin Bieber ruin Hailey's Vogue cover moment?
Some things are better left unsaid! Justin Bieber has been slammed over comments he made about his wife's big moment.
Justin Bieber made a strange confession while congratulating his wife Hailey on her recent Vogue cover.
Hailey is the magazine’s cover girl for its summer 2025 issue.
She looks sizzling hot while posing under a shower of water. The 28-year-old wears an unbuttoned striped shirt while water drips down her body.
Katy Perry and Lauren Sanchez joined scores of people in gushing over the sexy editorial spread.
"Stunning" Sanchez commented. Perry wrote: "I love this."
However, things turned sour when Justin reposted the cover on his Instagran account, which has nearly 300 million followers.
"Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight. I told Hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue," he captioned the post.
Justin added that he knows the comment was uncalled for.
"Yikes. I know, so mean. For some reason, because I felt so disrespected, I thought I gotta get even. I think as we mature, we realise that we're not helping anything by getting even.
"So baby, you already know but forgive me for saying you wouldn't get a Vogue cover cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken," he concluded.
Sadly mistaken? Despite acknowledging he was wrong, social media users accused the Canadian singer of ruining his wife's moment with his bizarre post.
"Instead of using THIS opportunity to congratulate her publicly, he chooses to humiliate her & ruin her moment by telling us that story," one woman said.
Another added: "This is classic 'how to I make this special event about me' energy."
Justin promptly deleted the caption and replaced it with something more, uhm, internet safe.
"🤷🫵🏻🫶🏼🥹."
Hailey's moment wasn't completely "ruined".
She won major internet points when she gave Vogue a glimpse inside her designer bag.
The Rhode founder, who has long been accused of bewitching Justin, joked that she carries a love potion in her bag.
"This is a little tincture potion that I got, I would say, probably when I was around 12. My dad flew me to go meet with this witch who lived in the mountains, and she made this specifically for me. She told me that it would make a young Canadian popstar fall in love with me," she teased.
"Been taking this one for years, absolutely love it. Thanks, dad."
Hailey's father is actor Stephen Baldwin. He took her to a Justin meet-and-greet in 2009 when she was just 12.
The father and daughter were also spotted at his 'Never Say Never' documentary premiere a few years later.
