Ann died a few days after celebrating her 91st birthday. Her family used FaceTime to celebrate her big day.

Ann lived in California's Motion Picture and Television Fund Home facility.  The nursing home has 13 confirmed Covid-19 cases and a total of three deaths

'Beverly Hills Cop II' actor Allen Garfield and 64-year-old John Breier,  who both lived at the home, died in hospital last week.

Ann's daughter Shannon said her mother loved to have a good time.

"My mom had a great sense of humor, was extremely positive, and touched everyone who was lucky enough to meet her," the LA Times quoted her as saying in a statement.

Social media users have been paying tribute to the legendary animator all week.
