Lloyd Cele releases new single
SA singer & songwriter, Lloyd Cele released his latest offering, Day Dreaming, earlier this week.
Before 2010 Lloyd Cele would never have imagined himself to be one of the South Africa's most popular artists but now he finds himself traveling the country performing at top live events.
Long before Idols, Lloyd was always passionate about music.
He was the worship director at his church and also a youth leader at Eagles Community Fellowship, which equip young people to be effective in their communities.
The a self-taught musician says he has learned a great deal over the past few years and that he tries to push the boundaries when it comes to his music.
His latest song 'Day Dreaming' is in essence a love song.
"I am really excited and proud of this song. It has a cross-over feel with an international sound," Lloyd told Jacaranda FM News.
He says it is a song about love that everyone can relate to.
"It puts you in a place of paradise where you just want to be with the person that you love."
Lloyd says he is working on an album even though no release date has been confirmed yet.
