Lola Young debuts new song 'D£aler'
qLola Young is gearing up for the release of her upcoming album.
Lola Young has released another single from her upcoming album. The 24-year-old singer premiered ‘d£aler’ on Friday, July 25.
"I spent all day tryna be sober/ I drowned in my misery, crawled up on the sofa/ And I still love him the way I did/ When I was nineteen, but it's not easy to to let him know/ I spent all day wishing the day was over," she sings.
The song is featured on her third studio album, 'I’m Only F**king Myself'.
"In spite of ‘d£aler’ documenting Lola’s journey and turbulent path through the struggles of self-sabotage, it is wrapped up in one of the album’s catchiest melodies, as a shuffling drum beat, synths and twanging guitars envelop one of the most lyrically-personal songs on the album," a statement about the song.
Young's third studio album is a reflection of emotional and musical growth. The album will debut on September 19.
"It’s a bright, touching body of work that often dives into the dark and raw but is counterbalanced by Lola’s uncompromising attitude, unafraid to get candid with exactly how she feels."
Young has released two other singles from the album: 'One Thing' and 'Not Like That Anymore.
She has described her upcoming album as an ode to self-sabotage: "My chance to claw myself back from the edge of defeat," she said.
Her 2024 smash hit, 'Messy', remains her biggest hit to date. The track was the sixth single released from her album, ' This Wasn't Meant for You Anyway'.
In April, the UK's Official Charts revealed that 'Messy' was the biggest song of 2025.
It beat songs by Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, Billie Eilish, and Chappell Roan.
Young's 'Messy' is currently #35 on the Top 40 with Danny Painter.
