The brand new Miss World 2025 was crowned on Saturday night at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The Miss World pageant occurred on May 31, 2025, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana.
More than 100 contestants from across the globe showcased their talents and cultural heritage in pursuit of the prestigious title.
Miss Thailand, Opal Suchata, was crowned Miss World 2025.
"This wasn't just about representing Thailand. It's about the many women who haven't been heard - and using my voice to stand for something that really matters."
The 21-year-old is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Politics and International Relations
Among the contestants was Miss World South Africa Zoalize Jansen Van Rensburg.
Jansen Van Rensburg won the World Designer Award - Africa.
The beauty queen took to the stage wearing a stunning creation by designer Juan William Aria.
The gown not only highlights her beauty but also encapsulates the richness of South Africa's natural landscapes.
The design pays tribute to the vibrant flora of South Africa, with the protea - the national flower - symbolising unity, innovation, and the humble strength of the nation.
Three South Africans have won the Miss World title: Penelope Coelen (1958), Anneline Kriel (1974), and Dr Rolene Strauss (2014).
