Lupita Nyong'o says 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' restored a sense of hope for her

Lupita Nyong'o spoke about how shooting 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' has been therapeutic following the passing of one of the original cast members, Chadwick Boseman.

Losing someone close to your heart, be it a family member, friend or colleague, can be devastating.
People find comfort in different things and for Lupita Nyong'o, therapy came from shooting 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever'.
The actor spoke about the pain of losing a cast member, Chadwick Boseman, who played the lead role in the original film.

She said she is very proud that she and the rest of the crew were able to pull together and shoot the film despite all that was thrown their way.
"To make this film against all odds is a powerful statement unto itself, and I am very proud that we did it," she told The Hollywood Reporter.
She went on to explain how she found healing through the shooting.
"It was very therapeutic. It restored a sense of hope for me in making it, and I think we've expanded the world of Wakanda in ways that will blow people's minds – not just Wakanda but the 'Black Panther' world. I just cannot wait until it's not a secret anymore,“ she said.
The film will be released in November.
