Miley Cyrus won't be doing a major tour for a while

The singer says it's hard to maintain sobriety when you're out on the road.

Miley Cyrus has no desire to go on tour.
The 32-year-old recently released her album, 'Something Beautiful', but won't be embarking on a major tour to support it.
"I do have the physical ability, and I have the opportunities to tour. I wish I had the desire, but I don't," she told 'Good Morning America'.
The 'More to Lose' singer says there isn't an infrastructure that supports artists, especially when it comes to mental health.
"It's really hard to maintain sobriety when you're out on the road, which is a really important pillar of stability in my life," she added.
Cyrus also has a medical condition that affects her vocal cords. In May, she told Apple Music's Zane Lowe that she has Reinke’s edema.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, "Reinke’s edema is a noncancerous vocal cord disorder common among people with a long-term smoking history."
The condition causes hoarseness and a deeper voice.
Cyrus blamed the abuse of her vocal cords for causing the condition.
“Being 21 and staying up and drinking and smoking and partying after every show does not help. But also in my case, it does not cause it. So my voice always sounded like this. It’s a part of my unique anatomy," she said.
She might not have plans to go on tour in the near future, but that hasn't stopped her from joining other tour.
Cyrus made a surprise appearance during the Paris leg of Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter Tour'.
The pair sang their duet, 'II Most Wanted'.
"@beyonce to be beside such a humble, gracious, legendary DIVA was a dream come true. Thank you for the opportunity to perform in Paris together & sing our song about friendship," Cyrus said.
The singer has also performed songs from her new album at several smaller shows.
