Miranda Lambert is "having a blast" being single.

The 31-year-old singer, who divorced Blake Shelton just hours after they announced their split in July, feels like a new person.

A source close to the country singer said: "She may have lost a husband, but Miranda gained a while new outlook on life. She's dressing sexier, exercising again and smiling more than ever.

"She lost part of herself trying to be what Blake wanted. Miranda feels her new look and attitude is just what the doctor ordered. She's having a blast flirting and being single."

However, the 'Little Red Wagon' singer has no interest in dating at the moment.

The insider explained: "Miranda wants to keep working on herself and having fun for now!"

While the blonde beauty is focusing on reconnecting with her friends, her new image has caught her ex-husband's attention.

The insider told Life & Style magazine: "He's been checking in on her through social media. He's told friends he loves the lighter hair and that she looks like the girl he fell in love with."
