MTV African Music Awards to be held in Joburg
They're back and bringing the whole of Africa to Jozi.
During a press conference held in the heart of Johannesburg MTV Base Africa has announced that that the 2016 MAMA's will indeed be held in Johannesburg Gauteng.
During the announcement MTV Base Africa also confirmed that the event well be held at the Ticket Pro Dome on the 22nd of October 2016.
What we're also looking forward to find out is if this year's host will either be an African or an international star.
For the past two years we've had the likes of American actors, Anthony Anderson and Marlon Wayan's host the show, maybe this time around our very own African stars will take up the role as the new hosts.
