"Why would I put out a song that has been out for three years?".

Nicki Minaj has responded to Kanye West's request to include their 2018 song, 'New Body', on his new album.
Over the weekend, Kanye posted a message to Minaj on social media asking: “May I call you about clearing new body on the new album”.
West is gearing up for the release of 'Vultures', an album he worked on with Ty Dolla $ign.
The album was scheduled for release on Friday, according to The Guardian, however, it has now been postponed.
Nicki took to Instagram to respond to the request. “Regarding Kanye: that train has left the station, OK?" she said.

Nicki questioned why she would want to put out a song that was recorded years ago, especially now that she is concentrating on the release of her recent album.
"I just put out a brand new album. Why would I put out a song that has been out for three years? Come on, guys,” she said.
Nicki was referring to her album, 'Pink Friday 2' which was released on December 8.
Although 'New Body' was never officially released, Minaj's leaked verse went viral on TikTok in 2020.
In an interview with Hot 106 in 2022, Minaj said it was the "biggest hit record that never came out."
Nicki's new album, 'Pink Friday 2', debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart (dated Dec. 23).
This milestone means she has the most No. 1 albums among female rappers, states Billboard.
