Porselein back due to popular demand
Updated | By MornéJK
From multi-award winning director, Quintin Wils, comes this next exciting production especially created for the South African State Theatre.

Porselein follows the lives of a modern gay couple and how they deal with the topic of domestic violence in an idealized South Africa where there is no discrimination of any sort.
The production further takes a look at both the lives of the abuser and the abusee and flashes back to why they make the choices they do in their lives.
The production received rave and 4 – 5 star reviews during its first run in March at the South African State Theatre and was described as “…a masterpiece!” Breytenbach (Die Reviewer) and “…breathtaking… a production that is worth watching and that needs to be seen by as many people as possible all over South Africa”! Mensah (Artslink).
Director and designer of the production, Quintin Wils, says that Porselein is by far the most exhilarating show that he has ever directed, but adds that “…it is by far the most thought-provoking production that I have directed thus far!
A production that makes you evaluate your own thoughts and idea's around what domestic violence actually may be.
