Rosalía eyes Kendrick Lamar and Charli XCX collab
Updated | By Music Reporter
Spanish singer Rosalía has already worked with big stars such as Billie Eilish, but she wants to add a few more A-listers to her wish list.

Could a Rosalía and Kendrick Lamar song be on the cards for 2025? Rosalía certainly hopes so.
In an interview with Elle magazine, the 'Malamente' singer said she would love to collaborate with the American rapper.
"I love Kendrick Lamar," Rosalía said without hesitation. It's no surprise that she would want to work with the rapper.
Lamar had one of the biggest years of his career last year.
His Drake diss song, 'Not Like Us,' was one of Billboard's top 10 songs of 2024.
He also released his sixth studio album, GNX, which produced hits such as 'Luther' featuring SZA, and Barack Obama's personal favourite, 'Squabble Up'.
Lamar is not the only artist on Rosalía's wishlist. She would also love to collab with Charli XCX and Patti Smith.
"Of course, Charli. She's a good friend and I would love to make music with her soon, and Patti Smith. I love Patti Smith."
Rosalía has already worked with big names in the music industry. Here's a look at some of her top collaborations:
- 'New Woman' with Blackpink star Lisa
- 'La Noche de Anoche' with Bad Bunny
- 'TKN' with Travis Scott
- 'La Fama' with The Weeknd
- 'Lo Vas a Olvida' with Billie Eilish
Rosalía recalled what it was like being in the studio with Eilish.
"Making a song with someone is very intimate," she told Elle.
"There's an image that I will always remember, it's her on the couch. She had her notebook, and she seemed calm writing. She seemed focused... There was something so beautiful about seeing her like that."
Rosalía is currently working on her next album and has already started working on new material, but she is not ready to share any details about the project.
She also won't be giving in to the pressures of the music industry.
"The rhythm [of the music industry] is so fast. And the sacrifice, the price to pay, is so high.
“The driving force that leads you to continue making music, to continue creating, has to come from a place of purity. Motives like money, pleasure, power…I don’t feel that they are fertile. Nothing will come out of there that I’m really interested in. Those are subjects that don’t inspire me," she told Elle.
