Sabrina Carpenter previews new album to 26 fans
Sabrina Carpenter had her "first playdate" for her new album at a special listening party for fans.
There are two weeks to go before Sabrina Carpenter releases her album, 'Man’s Best Friend', but a few lucky fans have already listened to it.
The 'Espresso' singer held an exclusive listening party for a small group of fans this week.
"Last night was the first playdate for Man’s Best Friend!" she captioned a carousel of pictures taken during the session.
"I asked 26 of my beautiful LA fans to meet at a private location and then get on a bus to come meet me at the studio where I got to play the whole album for them."
The listening party was very hush-hush, and her fans couldn't record or take pictures.
"They were gracious enough to let me take their phones, so they were totally present and respectful and amazing, and it was genuinely one of my favourite nights in such a long time!"
'Man's Best Friend' will be released on Friday, August 29.
"The excitement I get to play this album top to bottom is really like no other record I’ve made. Just 15 days away now!"

The album's lead single, 'Manchild', debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in June.
It is the number two song on the Top 40 with Danny Painter. 'Busy Woman', a track from the deluxe edition of her 'Short 'n Sweet' album, is at #35.
Carpenter fans are also excited about the debut of another album. Taylor Swift announced this week that she will feature on her upcoming album, 'The Life of a Showgirl.'
Swift shared the album's title, release date and tracklist during an episode of her boyfriend Travis Kelce's podcast, 'New Heights'.
Carpenter features on the album's title track, which is the 12th song on the album.
'The Life of a Showgirl' will be released on Friday, October 3.
