They seem like an unlikely pair, but Sharon Stone has a surprising answer to whether she went on a date with rapper Nelly.
Sharon Stone made a surprising confession about a crazy rumour that she once went on a date with rapper Nelly.
The actress addressed the rumour during an appearance on 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen'.
Cohen asked the 67-year-old who her first celebrity crush was.
"No one will remember this because I'm a thousand. It was a guy named Herman on Herman's Hermits," she replied.
While Stone was crushing on Herman, scores of men were going gaga over her risque leg-grossing scene in the 1992 movie, 'Basic Instinct'.
The scene made her an icon in the film industry, and it seems Nelly was a big fan of Miss Stone.
She was asked about their date during a separate segment of the show.
"I mean, this is crazy enough that I actually might believe it," Cohen said.
Stone replied: "Yes, I did."
The audience appeared shocked by the confession. However, they soon erupted into laughter when Cohen asked if they went on a second date.

Stone was previously married to Phil Bronstein, but she is currently single.
Nelly is married to singer Ashanti. The couple's son, Kareem Kenkaide Haynes, recently turned one.
"We cannot believe KK is 1. This year has flown by and we have enjoyed every minute of seeing his milestones, funny moments and growth. He brings us and our family so much joy," the couple told People magazine.
Nelly has two older children with his former partner, Channetta Valentine.
He also adopted his late sister's two children.
