Sho Madjozi wins big at international awards

Sho Madjozi made South Africa extremely proud this past weekend.

Maya Christinah Xichavo Wegerif, known professionally as Sho Madjozi, is a South African rapper, singer, songwriter, and actress.
She is best known for her hit songs, 'Wakanda Forever' and 'Huku'.

Sho Madjozi added an new accolade to her resume - international award-winning artist! This past weekend the local hitmaker won the Best New International Act award at the annual BET Awards.
The BET Awards are a celebration of the African American entertainment community, it also celebrates artists of African descent from around the world.
