Chappell Roan is reportedly just days away from releasing new music, and fans think it is her song 'The Subway'.

While the singer hasn't officially announced the single, she has been teasing the release on social media and on posters.

An Instagram fan account shared a video of a truck with the licence plate number: THE SBWY.

A woman's curly red hair is seen blowing in a side-view mirror.  The clip appears to be for a music video.

"I made a promise / if in four months these feelings ain’t gone / well, f**k this city / I’m moving to Saskatchewan," Roan sings.

The 'Good Luck, Babe!' singer has performed the song at festivals in the past, but she has not released it as an official single.

"Her best song is finally coming," a fan wrote on X.

Another user said, "After so long, we're really, finally getting 'The Subway'."

Another teaser shows a poster on a street pole that reads, "Going through a break up? GET BANGS."

The poster features a picture of Roan with bangs. A bread clip in her hair provides another clue. It features the date August 1.

Earlier this year, Roan confirmed that her next album will be pop. Many fans thought the singer was switching to country music after releasing her hit single, 'The Giver'.

The 27-year-old said she is not switching genres anytime soon.

"I wanted to write a country song because I just thought it would be funny. It’s campy and fun. I'm from southwest Missouri, grew up on Christian and country, and then found ‘Alejandro’ by Lady Gaga and I was like, ‘I think I like this, too.’ So, I have kept country in my heart," she said during an interview with Apple Music.

“I really just did it for fun. I'm not switching genres or anything."

However, don't rule out more country songs from the singer in the future. She is a big fan of the genre.

"I have such a special place in my heart for country music.  I grew up listening to it every morning and afternoon on my school bus and had it swirling around me at bonfires, grocery stores and karaoke bars."

Roan's sophomore album, the follow-up to 'The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess', does not have a release date, but whatever she has planned will be spectacular.

“There isn’t much of an agenda with this next album. I plan to do what I have always done: write songs that I love, create music I’m proud of and share that with the world," she told Variety last year.
