Zakes Bantwini has ticked off another dream on his bucket list.

The 'Osama' hitmaker has completed an executive education programme at Harvard Business School (HBS).

Bantwini says the milestone is "more than a personal achievement".

"It’s a powerful statement about where African creatives belong, in every global conversation, in every boardroom, and at every table where the future is being shaped," he wrote.

The Grammy Award-winning artist was enrolled in Harvard's Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports programme.

He attended the course in person at the HBS campus in Boston, Massachusetts.

According to the website, the programme helps students "uncover new approaches for driving revenue in a rapidly evolving entertainment market".

The programme is aimed at entertainers, agents, promoters, brand managers, and marketing executives in the creative space.

Bantwini's peers flooded his post with messages of congratulations.

"Untouchable… you are an inspiration. A living legend … you need more credit bro. You are truly [a] phenomenal human/father/husband. Thank you for being the change you wish to see in this world among us Africans, especially … I salute 🫡 sir," Lloyd Cele wrote.

Robot Boii joked: "Now come back and be Minister."

Local stars who have furthered their studies in 2025 include media personality Ayanda Thabethe

She completed her MBA degree earlier this year, four years after starting at Henley Business School in 2021.

"A typical Henley Executive MBA takes around two and a half years — mine took four so that in between I could welcome two beautiful children into the world, and with every pause, every return, came with its own mountain to climb.

"I’m incredibly proud to have passed with a distinction for my thesis, and I give all glory to God for carrying me through," Thabethe wrote.

Kim Kardashian's dream of becoming a lawyer also became a reality this year.

She completed her four-year Law Office Study Programme after failing the "baby bar" (California's First-Year Law Students' Examination) three times.

She eventually passed the baby bar and went on to take the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam.

Kardashian did not take the traditional university law school route; instead, she completed an apprenticeship that allowed her to complete the education requirements to become a lawyer.

The 44-year-old still needs to pass the California State Bar exam to practice law in California.

"Six years ago, I embarked on an unconventional path to pursue my dream of becoming a lawyer. It wasn’t easy, and it took longer than planned, but I never gave up. Each course brought moments of doubt, tears, and triumph - especially when I conquered subjects I initially feared," she wrote on Instagram.

"This experience has shaped me profoundly, and I’ll carry its lessons with me forever. Here’s to celebrating resilience and new beginnings!"
