12 suspects arrested for Inanda murders

Twelve suspects have been arrested in connection with the murders of five men in Inanda in KwaZulu-Natal.

The victims were allegedly kidnapped from their homes around midnight and found hacked to death with a bush knife.
The bodies were found at two separate sports fields in Bambayi.
Police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says they are investigating the motive behind the killings and urges anyone with information to come forward.
“The suspects are still being processed and their details, as well as their first court appearance, will be known in due course. The suspects are believed to be members of a certain forum in the community, and more arrests are expected to be made.”
The victims were aged between 19 and 26 years.
