17 killed in Lusikisiki mass shooting

The police have launched a manhunt following the killing of seventeen people in Ngobozana village in Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape.

The incident took place on Friday evening.
Police minister Senzo Mchunu and his Deputy Cassel Mathale are expected to brief the media on this incident.
They will be joined by National Commissioner Fannie Masemola.
Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe says the police are already on the lookout to apprehend those behind the heinous killings.
"In one house 13 people were killed which include twelve women and one man. In another homestead, four people were also killed."
"The eighteenth victim is in a critical condition in hospital. In total 15 women and two men were killed," says Mathe.
