More than 20 people were injured when three taxis collided in Diepsloot on Monday, Johannesburg metro police said.

Among the injured was one of the drivers, said Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar. They were all taken to hospital.
Traffic came to a standstill and the R511 was closed after the accident, near Nandi Road, at 6.45am.
The road was reopened shortly before 8.30am, said Minnaar.
