The trial involving the three men who allegedly killed a German tourist has been rolled over to today for continuation before the Mpumalanga Division of the High Court.

In October 2022, the 67-year old Jörg Schnarr from Germany was traveling with his wife and two other tourists towards the Numbi Gate at Mdluli Safari Lodge near the Kruger National Park when their vehicle was hijacked.
The attackers allegedly blocked the minibus the tourists were travelling in and attempted to open the doors.
Schnarr, who was driving, locked the doors and was fatally shot through the window.
Napoleon Nyalunga (37), Marshall Mamba (39), and Bongumusa Matsane (26) appeared before the court on Wednesday, facing charges of murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit crime, and other crimes.
They have pleaded not guilty on all charges.
Mpumalanga National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Monic Nyuswa says the state led evidence of the second state witness who is the investigating officer and who also arrested one of the accused.
"The investigating officer's evidence comes after the state led evidence of an eyewitness. Who told the court about how the events unfolded on the day of the incident.
"The state witnesses' evidence was supported by the visit to the crime scene by all the stakeholders involved in the matter. "
