Acting CEO of SA Tourism quits
Updated | By Mmangaliso Khumalo
SA Tourism confirmed the resignation of its acting CEO Themba Khumalo on Saturday.

Khumalo’s resignation comes amid the furore and ultimate cancellation of the controversial R1 billion Tottenham Hotspur sponsorship deal.
Khumalo had worked at the agency as chief marketing officer for four years, and as acting CEO for 17 months.
Tourism spokesperson Zara Nicolson says Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille has wished Khumalo all the best in his future endeavours.
“Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille was informed by the interim SA Tourism Board about the resignation of Themba Khumalo with immediate effect. Minister De Lille has noted the resignation and wishes Mr Khumalo well in his future endeavours.”
