ActionSA launches tracker to monitor Tshwane services
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
ActionSA has launched a government tracker to monitor progress made in the City of Tshwane under the leadership of Mayor Nasiphi Moya.

The announcement was made in Pretoria on Tuesday.
Moya has been in office in October 2024 and has been praised in some quarters for accelerating service delivery in the capital.
The tracker is split into five key governance monitoring areas, namely financial stability, infrastructure and service delivery, economic revitalisation, and a safe and clean city.
This will monitor issues including, the number of potholes repaired, response to power outages and water and sewage leaks, repaired street lights and regular grass cuttings
The party’s national chairperson Michael Beaumont said the monitoring will include the EPWP jobs created since the formation of coalition government.
"The Action in Government Tracker provides a transparent view of the progress made to date.
Importantly, it also highlights areas still requiring improvement, enabling residents to hold this
government to account — in a way that previous administrations never allowed."
The party also said it is not worried by any potential motion of no confidence against Moya.
This follows reports that some parties in the Tshwane council wants to see Moya ousted.
