ANC in Limpopo rejects Boy Mamabolo parliamentary ultimatum
Updated | By Lesetja Makhura
The ANC in Limpopo has rejected Boy Mamabolo's demand to be reinstated to the National Assembly or be deployed to the National Council of Provinces.

The party has begun drawing up its lists of members who will serve in Parliament and the provincial legislatures following the 2024 national and provincial elections.
Mamabolo has written to the ANC, accusing the party of removing his name from the candidate list and demanding reinstatement by the end of business on Wednesday.
He has threatened to take his party back to the High Court on an urgent basis, and interdict the swearing-in of Limpopo candidates to the National Assembly.
However, ANC provincial executive committee spokesperson Jimmy Machaka says they will not allow Mamabolo to bully them.
"The ANC position, as far as this matter is concerned, has not changed. We maintain that our decision was rational and justifiable under the circumstances.
"Any attempt to drag the ANC back to the court, the ANC will vigorously defend itself," says Machaka.
In April, Mamabolo lost his court case against the ANC at the High Court in Johannesburg.
The court ruled that the matter was not urgent and struck it off the roll.
