ANC NEC meets ahead of anniversary celebrations
The ANC's National Executive Committee (NEC) has gathered for a special meeting.
The meeting is called to consider the NEC Statement ahead of the 105th anniversary celebrations this weekend at Orlando Stadium in Soweto.
This is where President Jacob Zuma will deliver the annual January 8 statement.

ANC Secretary General Gwede Mantashe spoke to members of the media on the importance of the statement.
"It gives us direction. By the time we present it we must all know what to do next, where to move to," says Mantashe.
