Blitzbok legend’s rugby jerseys stolen from storage facility

South African Rugby Sevens legend Werner Kok has asked his thousands of Twitter followers to help him retrieve his rugby jerseys that were stolen from a storage facility in Cape Town.

The 28-year-old sports star tweeted on Friday that every single one of his Springbok Sevens jerseys, with the number 5 on the back, had been stolen on Wednesday.
He said this included his special jersey for playing at the Commonwealth Games in 2014, as well as the jersey he wore during the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
Kok, who currently plays for the Sharks, said this was 10 years of hard work stolen within minutes and that he will have nothing left to show his children one day.
He did not divulge the name of the storage facility in Cape Town, but asked rugby lovers be on the lookout in case his jerseys suddenly appear on the black market.
World Rugby Sevens joined Werner in empathising with him for his loss.
I have been dreading making this tweet but I have to get the word out
