Bodies of missing EC family found in river

Eastern Cape police are investigating a case of kidnapping and murder after the bodies of three family members from Tsomo were found floating in Mhlahlane River on Saturday.

The 71-year-old grandmother and her granddaughters, aged 16 and 17, were reported missing on Monday.
Police spokesperson Namhla Mdleleni says the three bodies were found tied in chains while floating on the river.
No arrests have been made.
