Botched hijacking at Gauteng top cop's home
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
Acting Gauteng Police Commissioner Fred Kekana has confirmed an attempted hijacking outside his home in Westonaria.

The incident happened on Monday morning.
The suspects, who were travelling in a getaway car, approached Kekana's blue car, before his protector opened fire.
The suspects subsequently fled the scene.
Kekana confirmed the incident is being investigated.
"The driver who was supposed to come and collect me noticed this suspicious BMW following him when he was about to reverse,” he said.
"The passenger in that BMW smashed the window with an iron rod. The driver had to defend himself and those thugs dropped a firearm and ran away. It's under investigation."
