Updated | By OFM News
The Buffalo City metro has launched a manhunt for community members who were caught on camera fighting with law enforcement over stolen electrical cables.

The metro says the incident happened during an illegal electricity connection raid at an informal settlement over the weekend.
In the first video, residents are seen removing cables from a municipal vehicle, while the second one shows a tussle between the community and officials.
Metro spokesperson Samkelo Ngwenya says area is receiving its power supply from a stolen transformer.
“Ultimately, this connection had left surrounding areas of Highway Gardens and local businesses in the dark”, he says.
More that 950 illegal electricity lines were removed during the week of 15 March.
