Cape Town baby kidnapping suspect granted bail
The Cape Town woman who was arrested for the kidnapping of a newborn in Bellville last month has been granted bail.
Sameemah Jacobs was granted R4,000 bail by the Bellville Magistrate's Court on Monday.
Mogamat Shamar was found alive in Tafelsig near Mitchells Plain after being reported missing.
He was abducted at a local shopping complex in Bellville.
The child was later found at the home of the 37-year-old woman.
The case has been postponed to 15 October.
