Cash-in-transit heists on the rise in Limpopo
Updated | By Nathan Daniels
Police in Limpopo have launched a massive manhunt following yet another transit robbery on Monday afternoon.

In the latest incident, a group of armed men attacked and blew up the vehicle with explosives.
Provincial police spokesperson, Moatshe Ngoepe says the robbery took place along the N1 North in the Louis Trichardt area.
"These group of suspects blew up the safe on this security vehicle, robbed it of an undisclosed amount of cash before they fled the scene. "
Ngoepe says a security guard was injured.
This comes as a police task team managed to dismantle a syndicate leading to four arrests in Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Gauteng.
