Cope: Mangaung destruction is Magashule's corrupt legacy
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
The Congress Of the People (Cope) believes the blame for this week’s violent service delivery protests in Mangaung must be laid squarely at the door of former Free State premier Ace Magashule.

The protests in the country’s judicial capital left a 14-year-old boy dead.
He was shot and killed, allegedly by a security guard, who was attempting to control the crowd.
Nineteen suspects are also expected to appear in court on Wednesday on charges of public violence.
Cope’s Dennis Bloem believes more towns in the province will experience similar protests in future.
"Ace Magashule has left the people of the Free State with total destruction, service delivery has collapsed and municipalities fail to deliver basic services to residents.
"People are forced to drink dirty water in some area and thieves are in charge of municipalities," says Bloem.
Cope also wants the mayor and city manager of Mangaung to take full responsibility for the teen’s death.
